Kaci CronkhiteThe Chandlery showcases the best wooden boat merchandise in the world. You'll find bronze hardware from the world's oldest foundry and the best local products, too. Learn about copper nails, pine tar, Tufnol and wooden blocks, traditional rigging, bales of oakum and cotton, caulking tools, marlinespike art and try hard-to-find hand tools. The Chandlery is hub for Festival information and this year's clothing, wooden boats, maritime books, nautical gifts, marine art and the latest on sailing in Port Townsend. The Chandlery staff includes Kaci Cronkhite and Victoria Poling. Kaci sailed around the world teaching women to sail and currently owns a 1936 double ender wooden boat called PAX which she keeps in Point Hudson and charters in the summers. She has been at the helm of the Wooden Boat Festival since 2002. Victoria is a tallship sailor who was engineer on the Schooner Adventuress and a longboat captain before joining the Chandlery full-time. Both are licensed Captains and passionate about wooden boats and our region's wealth of talent and history.
