Embracing traditional native cultures - I started working with the local Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe in 1992 when they opened and operated a Gallery in Pt. Townsend in the Lobby of the Waterstreet Hotel. I learned about the local tribes and the traditions along with their history and stories working as an employee eventually becoming a gallery manager.In 2000 the tribe gifted the gallery space to me, allowing me to become sole proprietor of the shop, when I changed the name to Pacific Traditions, maintaining and displaying many local native artists has been a priority for me along with many other talented artists. I've been a favorite stop in Pt. Townsend for well over 17 years. When in town stop in and be embraced by the artists creations of their visions for today.
